Southeast Portland's Fire Station No. 7 was built in 1927 as a neighborhood fire station, but when Venerable Development and partners acquired the building in 2009 to turn it into tenant office spaces, the building had been deteriorating for decades.
The renovation project included the two-story fire station as well as an adjacent 1930s wood handball court and an industrial maintenance garage built in the 1960s.The EF0 rating means there were winds of 85 miles per hour.
