According to Bill's right-hand man Brian Purcell, 40, the Apprentice boss has been forced to be even tougher this year at laying down the law in the boardroom this year because the candidates have become more ruthless than ever.An Apprentice insider added: "When Bill heard about the boys' antics he blew his top. It's his show and he didn't understand why they would even consider walking into his garage.The tough-talking tycoon is flabbergasted when he hears the lads walked into his garage to try and sell the Carlton Hotel vouchers they are tasked with getting rid of.He said: "They're more ruthless. They have no qualms in filleting each other and laying the blame. They're definitely a feisty, ruthless bunch."
Since company founder Leno Martin relocated his fledgling garage door company to Utah, where he had family roots, MDM has called the Salt Lake Valley home. MDM doors, as well as their tracks, belt-driven garage openers and additional components, are manufactured in a 210,000 square foot factory on 14 acres at 2828 S. 900 W. in South Salt Lake and a 10,000 square foot factory outlet built in Las Vegas in 2002.
