Northumbria Police are now appealing for witnesses.


A spokesman stated: "Police are interesting for witnesses just after three great-worth bikes had been stolen from a garage in Jesmond.


"Amongst ten.30pm on Tuesday, June 28, and 8am on Wednesday, June 29, someone has received into a garage on a property in the Jesmond spot and produced-off with a few mountain bikes.


"Someone with content in relation to the whereabouts of the bikes or who knows something about the theft is asked to speak to police."
